THE MONTHLY PLAYLIST: MARCH

How is March already?! I have no idea but it is time for a new monthly playlist and there's a couple of gems amongst this lot...

There is definitely a few BRITs inspired songs in this months offering. I was so delighted that Paloma Faith, Mark Ronson and Royal Blood got awards. Record Collection is my favourite Mark Ronson song (or maybe on par with Uptown Funk) and if you've never heard it then you must. It has vocals from Duran Duran's Simon le Bon too!
Blur also announced their first album in 12 years so I had to include one of my favourites of theirs. I saw them at a small gig a couple years ago and it was one of the best days of my life.
And then in this last week Britney Spears and The Wombats have both come on shuffle and it made me remember just how bloody great they both are!

Full Playlist

Orson - Ain't No Party
The Wombats - Moving To New York
Sophia Loren - Bing Bang Bong
Jens Lekman - An Argument With Myself
Jessie Ware - Valentine
Mark Ronson - Record Collection
Paloma Faith - New York
Blur - Mr Robinson's Quango
Britney Spears - Baby, One More Time
Royal Blood - Figure It Out

What songs are you loving at the moment?

And you can catch up on January and February playlists here.

  1. Aaaah I'm so pleased I came here, I totally forgot about Orson. I loved the song when it first came out (Oh, God that makes me feel old!) and now I'm loving it again!
