ASOS WISHLIST #1

I've hit a "bloggers block" situation and I'm struggling to think of things to write about. I got myself a bit worked up about it so I thought, let's just go back to the trusty wishlist to kick start the ol' brain box.

ASOS is my absolute favourite place for clothes. Late last year I decided it was time I got myself an ASOS Premier account. If you don't know what that is then you pay £9.95 to cover 12 months and for that you get free next day and nominated delivery. Considering that most of the time, standard delivery is about £3/4, that is more than worth it if you order as much as I do. It's also proved to be a life saver when I've needed last minute birthday presents and emergency outfits. They even come on Sunday if you ordr in time on Saturday!
So, yeah... my ASOS saved list is always rather full as I try to tell myself I don't really need another striped top. (We all need more striped tops though, don't we?)

Here's what's currently on my ASOS saved list...

IF I WON THE LOTTERY...

I hope you've all had a lovely last couple of day with whatever it is you've been up to. I have still blogged so if you weren't online then please go and have a catch up.
There's now only 4 more days left of blogging everyday this month and I can't quite believe how fast it's gone. There's going to be a full post about that in a couple of days though.
But for today I thought I'd do a "Luxury Beauty Wishlist".

I was a bit wary and cautious of posting this prior to Christmas Day. I just can't get comfortable with the idea of presents and I didn't want to seem as though it was coming across as throwing hints and boasting or something. Which I'm more than sure it doesn't but yeah!
Besides, it's sale time now so what better time to get luxury products for a cheaper price?!

WISHLIST #8

I haven't done a wishlist post since last October! Crazy! So, seeing as I got a pay rise this week, let us change that...

Last time I bought a MAC lipstick I settled on Rebel which I LOVE but it was between that and Diva and ever since I really wish I'd just bought them both. Clearly going to cave and end up buying this soon...
Spring is coming and pastel nails are EVERYWHERE. This colour is beautiful!
I confess I have literally just click order on the bag. It's one of those multi compartment bags á la Zara's City Bag. I've eyed that up for so long but I can't justify the price right now. Hopefully this one will suit just as well.
Shirt, collar, burgundy? Triple check with the added bonus of sheer panels. Simple; need.
The trousers are something of a shock for me to like but there's something about them. I know I wouldn't end up wanting to wear them. I'm more comfortable in plain and black!
See the skort... this is also á la Zara. I actually tried this on a couple weeks back and really liked it then. My birthday is coming up so maybe I need to treat myself.
These shoes are so cute! Perfect colour for Spring and lovely to wear to work too. My only problem is that Dorothy Perkins shoes just don't fit me. I used to work on the shoes there and the 6's were always massive and the 5's just way too tight. Which is majorly sad because their shoes are great.
Last thing is the Zoeva 104 Buffing Brush. I've heard a lot about Zoeva brushes and I was pleasantly surprised to see how cheap they are!

What are you lusting after at the moment?

WISHLIST #7

I say this in almost every post but I try so hard to find motivation and inspiration to blog but I've just not been able to find any recently which has left the blog a little bit scattered. I'm trying really hard at the moment to put together some kind of schedule to try and get me in to a posting routine and I have a couple of blog post ideas lined up that I will hopefully put together before the end of the month.

But I thought I'd ease into things with a wishlist. I love reading these types of posts and I've been eyeing up a couple of things as I've been browsing recently.

This dress is actually sold out so seems a bit ridiculous to include it but I want it. I don't know if the smock style even suits me but I saw a girl in a Topshop concession in Selfridges wearing in and she looked amazing. I am determined to hunt it down. It is also available in a pink/purple which is nice but I love this so much.
I have been wanting to try Illamasqua's Skin Base foundation since seeing numerous Pixiwoo and Fleur de Force videos. Last week, whilst in Selfridges, my friend got colour matched with it and it looked incredible on her and now I really want it. I don't think anyone will ever find the perfect foundation but I think this may well be very close.

The next three items are for a related trip I am taking in the new year. In January I am off to Russia! I know. It will be cold. Very cold. But I am excited to buy lots of jumpers in preparation. I love this New Look one.
The mittens are from Topshop and I recently bought the hat that matches them so I may have to take another trip back to find these.
And I am really very happy I have found an excuse to buy a backpack! I think it will be the best way to carry around everything I will need to during the day and it will be perfect for hand luggage.

Also, I think it might be a little bit obvious that I am also one of those people loving the tartan that's around everywhere at the moment. I didn't think I would but I've seen so many different items that I have fallen in love with.

What are you lusting after at the moment? And if you have tried the Illamasqua foundation, what do you think of it?

WISHLIST #6: AUTUMN

This week the onesie got brought back out of hiding along with fluffy socks and jumpers. Yes, summer has ended and the rain has restarted. Autumn is definitely my favourite season. I am quite fond of some good knitwear.
I've been in such a big mood to buy lots of new clothes lately but there doesn't seem to be anything out that I really want. I have put together a small wishlist though, all of which I think are very practically choices...

The other day it rained so hard and I put my boots on and ended up with very soggy feet. Today I noticed it was probably due to the split that has formed right down the sole of the boot... I think it's time for new boots. Everyone and their dog seems to be talking about the New Look cut out boots. I'm glad the rest of the high street have caught on to the cut out boots as I really can't justify the Topshop price now I don't have a staff discount card. And I love everything about the burgundy H&M ones. AND I think it's probably necessary to have boots in two different colours, just in case... yes? Yes!
How cosy does that jumper look?! I am in love. The colour will go with everything too and I know I'll end up living in it.
I like stripes. I'm so drawn to anything that has striped. I have tops like this but THIS is one that I've been picturing in my head for oh so long and now I have found it. I'm not usually keen on half sleeves but I love this.
I have decided I need a trench coat in my life, too. This way I can pretend to be Emma Stone/a Burberry model. Now obviously, the Burberry trench would be more ideal but I may need to settle for spending less than £40 in H&M for now.
And of course there was going to be a lipstick! Topshop has named this one Really Ruby yet the colour is described as raspberry and from the swatch I would say that's a perfect colour description but, calling it Ruby seems odd. Anyhow, the colour looks beautiful. I usually venture more to the deep colours for lips when the weather gets colder but I am sure I can make an exception for this.

WISHLIST #5: TOPSHOP

The last few times I've been into town, I've really not had any luck in any shops. I've just been so disappointed with everything but I have been browsing Topshop tonight and a few things have caught my eye!

Purple is always my favourite colour but I'm seeing it pop up a lot recently and I love it. I got a dress from Primark in the dark purple colour and I'm obsessed with it. I've also been after getting a smaller bag. I always have big bags and put practically everything I own in and now at the ripe old age of 21 my back is like that of an 80 year old so my heavy bag is probably not helping.
I am almost certainly going to buy the mustard blouse! It's gonna look so nice for work with a black skirt. I am in desperate need for new work clothes and I adore everything about this.
And obviously had to include a lipstick! Not that I need more but seriously, Topshop ones are amazing!

I'm off to Edinburgh in the morning to spend a week at the Fringe festival. I went two years ago and it is so much fun so I'm very excited!
Excited for a break too. I haven't been on holiday since the last time I went there.

Have a lovely week! x

WISHLIST #4

Exciting news in my life... I finally got myself a new job. I've worked in retail since I was 16. I've been made redundant twice and although for all those years working it has pretty much been full time, my contract hasn't been full time so hours vary so much and I never know how much money I'm going to earn each month. I used to love retail but I've quickly fallen out of love with it and I've been wanting to change fields, learn something new and find full time work for a while. I've managed to get myself a full time job in an office as an admin assistant and it's going to be a lot of work but I'm really excited. I've done a couple shifts already but I properly start at the beginning of June. It also means I get my weekends back and won't need to be getting up at 6.30am on a Saturday morning!

So, I've just under 2 weeks left of being a retail girl so I'm going to have to spend on my staff card whilst I still have it and I do need some suitable office attire. So here's another wishlist post!

Apologies for it being Topshop heavy but gotta get that discount whilst I can!

I love me a good jersey dress. So easy to just throw on when I don't know what to wear. Admittedly I have too many but I love the button and pocket details on this one and it makes it different from the others I have. According to the website, though, it isn't in my local store. Boo!
I've also been after a Breton striped top like this for a while but ideally I'd rather have black than navy stripes. I'm not really a navy lover. This looks oversized and perfect for tucking into shorts though.
I've already bought sunglasses this year and I always buy aviator style ones but there's something about these ones that I love. Not sure I'm too keen on the tortoise shell design though...
If you've never used Topshop makeup, I really recommend it. I have a few of the lipsticks already but I love this colour. Not really a summery colour but it looks really rich and the formula of their lipsticks is brilliant. They've also recently launched the Lip Bullets, which look a bit like the ELF lip colours I bought here, but definitely keen to try out the Topshop version (even if they're more expensive!) I've also got really into blush recently and I'm looking at trying out cream blushes. I've got an MUA one which I like but the colour isn't very pigmented.

I tried a denim playsuit on in Forever 21 recently but it had a cut out back design and that made it not really fit me on my back but I really like the look of them. Hopefully my store will have this so I can try it and see if I can pull it off! When I tried the other one, the colour of the denim and the fit of it made me look like I'd been kicked out of the 90's.
I've always really liked blazers but I've never been able to wear them. They seem too formal for normal day wear and they don't fit in with what I wear when I'm at work. However, with my new job I can totally get away with it, yay! I already have a boring black one but this colour is beautiful!

Finally, everyone and their dog has the top of the finger rings from River Island now and I want them. I actually want the ones that are like criss-cross but the website doesn't seem to have them anymore. I never realised how reasonably priced River Island's jewellery was before either, just a little side note.

I think I may have to take a trip to town this weekend now. What are you lusting after at the moment?

I'm seriously so excited to start a new chapter in my life (hey cheesy!) but this year I really wanted to sort my life out finally and I feel like this is going to get me somewhere.
And I know my blog posts aren't very routined but once I start my new job properly, I'm not going to be free during any weekdays so posts may get even more sparse. But bare with me and stick around and once my personal life is in order, I can properly work on the blog!

Hope you are all wonderful!

WISHLIST #3

Just a small wishlist today as I was browsing online for a dress for an upcoming Christening. I failed to find what I wanted but of course now I'm wanting to spend even more money!

The sweatshirt isn't my usual taste but this is just awesome for a lazy, casual day to throw on with my disco pants or some denim shorts.
I am forever after the perfect liquid eyeliner. I'm using a Sleek one at the moment and I really like it but I still don't feel it's exactly what I want. I quite like the look of the wand of this one and the Topshop makeup I've tried before, I've been really pleased with. Let me know if any of you have tried it.
Also after some decent flat shoes that will go with everything for Spring/Summer. I was trying to avoid suede because of the English weather but I just fell in love with these. The detailing on the toe is gold elephants! They're £22 which I think is pretty decent too.
Finally, the Urban Decay Basics palette. I've wanted this for SO long and then my friend bought the Naked 2 palette and it's beautiful and I keep watching YouTube videos with this palette being used. My finger just accidentally slipped on to the 'add to basket' button so I may just have to slip on the 'buy' button now. It's also down to £18 on the Debenhams website at the moment. That means £3 per shadow! Bargain!

WISHLIST #2

Haven't done a wishlist post in a while and it seems like a lifetime since I was last paid and another one until I next get money and I miss shopping!

Jersey dress; Topshop
Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation
Marc Jacobs 'Daisy'
Crop top; Topshop
Cross belt; ASOS
Pack of rings; ASOS
Sleek 'Au Naturel' Pallete
Acrylic Makeup Storage; eBay

I LOVE jersey dresses and Topshop's always fit just how I like. They're the most versatile clothing and can be quite easily dressed up or down. They're perfect for me to wear to work too and the colour of this one is beautiful. It comes in a few other colours and knowing Topshop, there's bound to be more released in the next few weeks. The crop top is a brave move for me. I'm really self conscious about myself but I bought a leather-look skater skirt and I think this will look lovely with it. I've got a friend's birthday soon which I'd like it for but it seems to be sold out online and in store so hopefully it gets restocked so I can try it.
The belt from ASOS is something I know I'd get and where with everything! So I'm going to have to hope I get a decent pay slip at the end of the month. Same for the rings. They'd look good on their own are all stacked across all fingers.
I've been wanting Marc Jacobs Daisy fragrance for so long and people I know keep getting it and I want it! I'm going to try and hold off til my birthday in a couple of months and maybe ask for some then.
On to makeup..! I've had such a horrible war with foundation trying to find suitable shades and finishes for my skin. I love No.7 now that I know what shade I need but after watching YouTube videos and seeing so many people rave Estée Lauder's Double Wear, I am so very intrigued and there's so many shades that one of them must be a perfect match for me. It just looks like it gives the best coverage. It's around £27 which is more or less twice No.7 but for foundation you do pay for what you get and if that's rubbish, the rest of the makeup looks rubbish.
I raved Sleek makeup here and I love my Storm palette but I really want the Au Naturel one. The colours will be so much more useful for day to day looks.
The last thing is a bit random but over the last year I've amassed more makeup than I've ever had before and the way I currently store it is not suitable for the amount I have! I've seen so many YouTubers with these acrylic storage units and they look sleek and tidy and I may have to just treat myself.

Are you lusting after anything at the moment?

CURRENTLY COVETING: COSMETICS

Recently I've become a lot more "in to" make up than I ever have been and I just keep buying stuff all the time. I blame the likes of Boots and Superdrug for 3 for 2 offers. You can hardly say no to that! (Superdrug are currently 3 for 2 on all make up and lashes, by the way!) So right now I'm lusting after quite a number of things but I'm very penny-less at the moment so I may have to hold out until payday for most of this.

MAC Diva, Lady Bug & Girl About Town | Topshop Crescent Moon Highlighter | Revlon lipstick in Black Cherry | Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple | Real Techniques Buffing Brush | Sleek Blush in Rose Gold | Models Own in Bare Beauty | MUA lip liner | Katy Perry "Oh Honey!" lashes | Nivea Express Hydration Primer

So, just one or two things there then...

As you can probably guess from that, I like lipstick. I have one MAC lipstick (Impassioned) and I love it so much and I really want more now. I think Diva is definitely the one I most want, though it does look quite similar to Topshop's Beguilded (which I already own). And I've read so many great things about Revlon lip products, I actually bought a matte lipstick of theirs in "Really Red" and it lasts so long so I'm impressed. I was going to buy the Black Cherry one but they didn't have any left, boo! The lip butters are hugely raved about everywhere too so I'm going to have to hope Superdrug's 3 for 2 is on for a couple more weeks.
Lip pencils is something I've been buying this last week too. I've bought a red and berry coloured one but most of my lipsticks are pink so it's probably a bit silly not to own a pink one!

The Topshop highlighter and Sleek blush are another two items that I'm jumping on the bandwagon about. I love the highlighter that is in the Sleek Contour Kit and I've read too many good things about Topshop highlighters so I really want to see what the fuss is about.
The Sleek blush... well the colour looks too nice in all the swatches I've seen and it looks perfect for Autumn/Winter. Unfortunately, my local Superdrug don't stock Sleek so I'll have to venture out to get it.

I made an order with Models Own when they did their half price summer sale and this was sold out then but I really want a nice nude polish because I don't have any and nude nails look so classy on everyone. I will have to invest!

Always wanted to try false eyelashes but I never have. I think I'm slightly afraid of the glue (I have a weird phobia thing with glue) and also about ruining my own lashes. Then Katy Perry released her range and that made me want to try them even more. Think I'm going to just go for it when we have our Christmas Do for work, eek!

The primer and make up brush aren't really cosmetics but they sort of fit in. I keep seeing the advert for the Nivea primer and I'm very intrigued. I think they say it's a moisturiser and also a primer which I can only see as time saving in a morning when I'm half asleep trying to make myself look like I'm bright and awake! And I do like Nivea products so I think it will be a good buy.
Then the Real Techniques brush is just another jump on the bandwagon thing. The buffing brush comes in the Core Collection and it's on sale on Amazon at the moment so I'm very tempted. Everyone raves this brush so much and I want to know why!

Just want to say a huge thank you to you all for following my blog. I hit 100 followers yesterday! So thrilled! That's more in just less than 2 months than the entire time I had my blog open the first time round.
THANK YOU <3

PAYDAY WISHLIST #1

It's payday in 6 days (and counting!) and this month I'm due a bonus in my payslip as I got a little promotion last month so I think that means I'm entitled to treat myself.
Here's what I'm after this month...

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

1. Been after a skirt like this for so long and I've tried so many on that just aren't right. Hopefully my local Topshop has this and hopefully it will be perfect. It will go with everything and I'd be able to wear it for work too.
2. I already have a Bowie top but this one from the new Hero & Cape collection is just beautiful.
3. I keep looking at these House of Holland tights and they're reduced on the New Look website. Meaning I'll probably end up buying them.
4. Like I need another lipstick... BUT it's only £1.50 so hardly breaking the bank...
5. This year I really want a good leather jacket and I think this Miss Selfridge one is my favourite that I've come across so far.
6. Seen so many bloggers bang on about this Topshop highlighter and it's got me very intrigued...
7. The only reason I like when it gets cold is because there is knitwear everywhere and I LOVE knitwear. This cardigan looks so cosy!
8. Scarf... gloves... Scloves? Glarf? I don't know but... AWESOME. I had to de-ice my car this morning (in September!!) and it was so frosty walking from where I park to work so this would nicely warm me up on that little journey.

What are you wanting this payday?
